This office intends to dispose by way of sale, approximately 39,00,000  pouches of seized "GOA Gutkha 1000" having printed retail sale price of Rs. 1.50.

Interested parties may quote the purchase price per pouch (Exclusive of Taxes)  in sealed cover addressed to "Additional Commissiner (Prev), Ist Floor Customs House, Nr Income Tax, Navranpura, Ahmedabad".  The sealed cover must be submitted on or before 09.04.2009 Thursday 15:00 Hrs. 

The sealed covers will be opened on 17:00 Hrs same day before the parties.  Interested parties may attend the same at "Conference Room, Customs House, Nr. All India Radio, Income Tax Circle, Ahmedabad-9".

The delivery of Goods is to be taken on "AS IS WHERE IS" basis.  The winning party will have to take the delivery of the said goods (entire quantity) on payment by "Demad Draft" in favour of "Commissioner Central Excise - Ahmedabad-II" and by 13.04.2009 Monday.

Interested parties may visit the following premises on any working day for inspection and more details of said pouches.
